Appetite Training

This e-course takes on our "appetites" of both body and mind and helps us to see them for what they are and to begin to train them so that they serve us instead of the other way around. 

The appetites of the body include food, drink, sleep, movement and procreation.

The appetites of the mind include many more things like security, control, power over our environment, comparing ourselves to others, competition, stimulation and desire for variety.

Think of your body and mind as two very powerful horses drawing a chariot, and you (your True Self or Spirit) as the charioteer.  Most people never bother to train their horses very much if at all and so they grow up thinking that they can do whatever they want, whenever they feel like it.  As a result, the chariot gets pulled after every fleeting whim and life can seem to be out of control.

But the horses can be trained and taught that they have a higher master.  They will at first rebel at this because they have been left unmanaged for so long.  But with patience and will, they will learn their proper roles as the powerful tools they are- but tools of true master who wields them

In this e-course we will take on the key passions of body and mind, and literrally train them through practice and drills.  The end result will be that you will assume your rightful role as the Charioteer of your life and your energy will be more focused on accomplishing what you're here to accomplish instead of being wasted on chasing after and repairing the damage from the untrained rampages of your passions and appetites.
